This week N8 had his last travel before the baby comes (only 5 weeks to go!). He had to take a class at Point Mugu. Point Mugu is in between Oxnard and Malibu. We decided not to go the entire time he was there to allow him some study time for his class and me to be able to get some things done here at home.
We stayed in Camarillo just across the freeway from a giant outlet mall! So, one morning we did some shopping and were able to get Emma's ears pierced!!
We also went to a small children's museum:
And a park that had a fun zip line:
But really all the kids really wanted to do was spend time at the beach! We went to a beach that was just south of the base. It wasn't busy, had great sand a giant waves for the kids to play in!
One morning Jamba Juice was doing a free juice day. We prefer their smoothies, but have a hard time saying no to free!!
N8 made sure that he and the kids got some geocaching in. This one is as the National Weather Service and required at least 20 ozs of water. Although it was out in the open, it was one of the funner caches!
We also had to find some self serve frozen yogurt!
N8 passed his class and the kids and I enjoyed the beach. Perfect way to wrap up our summer vacation (school starts Tuesday!! eek!!).
