Handlys take Zions 2014-part 2

Thursday morning Mark & Sheri made an awesome breakfast of french toast bright and early (6am!).
There was also some early morning yoga!
Emma woke up feeling a little queasy so we brought a bucket along for the drive into the park. Today was the day we decided to wear our family shirts. So we were a sea of blue! We loaded onto the buses and made our way to the Emerald Pools stop.
At that point Emma & I got back on the bus to head to the cabin. Her queasiness had turned to barfing. The rest of the crew headed to Emerald Pools and Weeping Rock. Since I wasn't there the pictures will have to speak for themselves!
Emerald Pools:
Thumbs up from Bridget!
Henry loved all of the attention from cousins!!
Emma enjoyed a Sprite, some toast and Spongebob and started feeling better:
Then we met back up with the crew and headed to Pine Creek Waterfall for a little swim and rock jumping! This was a short hike, but was sanding and very steep. I made the mistake of wearing flip flops and had a difficult time getting in and out. Luckily my brothers helped quiet a bit! The jumpers had a great time and the kids found tadpoles!
She was feeling better!
Henry was tuckered out!
He is wearing a swimming suit!
That afternoon and evening there was more time at the pond, family pictures, played frisbee, games and visited!
We had a program with some family event charades, a fun story of my grandpa OV, my dad shared about attending a grave dedication for a great great great grandfather and Joann shared about she and my dads recent trip to Jordan and Isreal. It all tired Henry out (and Katie!)
More visiting and game playing!
N8 and I lucked out and Friday morning breakfast got moved to 7am rather than 6am!
