Snow, Sledding and Fun

So our trip to Mammoth Lakes was somewhat of a success. We were planning on riding the gondola in town. We thought that would be something that the kids would totally love, but when we got there it was not running. So, we spent some time at the hotel (N8 and Emma enjoyed the pool) and we all went to Ben & Jerry's for ice cream. Then on Saturday morning we found a fun little spot to do some sledding, snowman making and snowball throwing! The weather was wonderful and we were not ready to come back to 90 degree temps here in Ridgecrest.

Preparing and Packing

Why does leaving for an overnight trip take all day to prepare for? Tonight we're headed up to Mammoth Lakes for overnight for our anniversary. We're staying at the Holiday Inn (Thank goodness for points, we have a free night!). It will be 6 years tomorrow. Of course we're taking the kiddos with us, but it should still be fun. N8 is looking forward to seeing some snow and I'm just looking forward to getting out of town. Hopefully this kids are good.

Sleep, what is that again???

So in deciding what to name my blog I was racking my brain. All I could think about was the fact that I'm tired. This is mainly due to the fact that It's late, but added to that is my lovely little 2 year old. She was born is a whirl-wind and just hasn't stopped ever since.

She's 2!!! She should know how to sleep through the night in her own bed on her own. But still every night I awake to my covers being stolen by my little one crawling into bed in between my hubby and I.

What are we going to do with her!
