Before & After...

I've been giving N8 and the other boys hair cuts for years. Once I got the hang of it, and the fact that N8 isn't particularly picky, I found it wasn't too bad. Of course I don't do anything fancy, a buzz cut is about it!

Today though Henry needed a cut. His hair was down in his eyes. N8 really didn't want it cut. He claims Henry's hair is his source of POWER!!! I was shocked that he didn't put up a stink at all!

Here's everyone with a before & after:

1st hair cut...

Today Henry got his first hair cut. I did Bud's and Mo's first cut, but neither turned out well! I decided to take Henry in to our favorite little salon Jack & Jill's. I had to wake Henry up from his nap so he was a little reserved! N8 was afraid that cutting his hair might take away some of the red he has in his hair. I would say it only looks redder!
Here we are getting set:

He's got a a pretty good mohawk going!

Trisha called him a bobblehead. He did not want to hold still!

Ah, all done!

His hair wasn't out of control, but I had to comb it behind his ears and the back was getting pretty crazy. Now it's not the standard buzz like the other boys, but it's a great cut!

Happy Post Halloween!

Well we survived another Halloween. It was a pretty busy day for us. We had music makers in the morning, then Emma and I spent the afternoon at Bud's school helping with the parade and classroom party. Then after school we went to a nursing home to "trick or treat" (this was basically, walk around so the older folks could see the kids dressed up!). Then we did a 2-ward trunk or treat and neighborhood trick or treating!! I'm glad we did it all, but man was I tired. We had so many kids come trick or treating to our house that we passed back out about 1/2 of Bud and Emma's candy. That's probably a good thing!

So, Bud wanted to be a spiderweb again and the his old skeleton costume fit Emma. I needed simple this year!

Also, here's a few pics of the haircut. It's hard to tell, but it is substantially shorter:( It's going to take me a while to get used to it!
